Indulgent vanilla pound cake - easy and irresistible favorite for your family.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, making sure to leave some parchment paper hanging over the sides for easy removal later.
  • In a large bowl, mix together butter, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until fluffy using an electric mixer. Add flour and mix until combined. Then, beat in eggs one at a time, scraping the bowl after each addition. Pour the batter into a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 45 minutes.
  • Using the parchment paper, gently transfer the cake from the loaf pan to a wire rack. Allow the cake to cool completely for about 30 minutes before slicing.
