Festive apple pie moonshine with a hint of cake flavored vodka - perfect for cozying up this holiday season.
Ingredients:
  • 1 gallon apple juice
  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 12 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 (1 liter) bottle 151 proof grain alcohol (such as Everclear®)
  • 2 cups cake-flavored vodka (such as UV®)
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, unite apple juice, apple cider, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, vanilla extract, and cloves. Bring to a boil, then simmer on medium-low heat until sugars dissolve, for approximately 20 minutes. Take the pot off the heat and let it cool entirely for about 1 hour.
  • Combine grain alcohol and vodka with the apple juice mixture, ensuring a thorough stir. Set the cinnamon sticks aside for now. Divide the moonshine into bottles, placing 1 cinnamon stick in each bottle before sealing them tightly. Chill the moonshine in the refrigerator for storage.
