Flavorful vegan gravy made with fresh herbs, perfect for any dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup fresh chives
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme, stemmed
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, stemmed
  • 8 leaves fresh basil
  • 8 fresh parsley leaves
  • 4 fresh oregano leaves
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 0.33333334326744 tablespoon vegetable base
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a blender, mix water, olive oil, chives, thyme, rosemary, basil, parsley, oregano, tomato paste, cornstarch, vegetable base, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and quickly bring it to a vigorous boil for 1 minute.
