Savoury pork sausages make quick and delicious meatballs!
Ingredients:
  • 600g pork sausages
  • 36.80 gm sunflower oil
  • 24.40 gm fish sauce
  • 21.00 gm soy sauce
  • 28.60 gm honey
  • 1 large carrot, grated lengthways
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, grated lengthways
  • 1 red onion, grated lengthways
  • 2 baby cos lettuces, leaves separated
  • 75g peanuts
  • 1 long red chilli, thinly sliced
  • 125ml dipping sauce
Instructions:
  • Remove the sausage meat from its casings and shape into walnut-sized balls. In a deep frypan over medium heat, fry the meatballs in oil for 5-6 minutes until they are golden and fully cooked. Stir in fish sauce, soy sauce, honey, and 1 tablespoon of water, making sure to coat the meatballs and deglaze the pan. Set aside.
  • Fill each crisp lettuce leaf with a delightful combination of sliced carrot, cucumber, and onion. Add a generous portion of savory meatballs, crunchy peanuts, and spicy chili on top. Finish by drizzling with dipping sauce and pan juices for a flavorful presentation. Enjoy!
