Elevate your Thanksgiving meal with a gourmet twist on green bean casserole using fresh beans.
Ingredients:
  • 4 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add green beans and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes. Drain the beans and they are ready to enjoy.
  • Combine green beans and creamy mushroom soup in a bowl, then transfer to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and French-fried onions before baking.
  • Bake until the cheese is beautifully melted and golden brown in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
