Award-winning dressed waffles!
Ingredients:
  • 100g good-quality dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thickened cream
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 40.00 ml Frangelico liqueur
  • 1 x 200g pkt Belgian-style waffles, toasted
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve
  • Fresh raspberries or thawed frozen raspberries, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water), combine the chocolate, cream, sugar, and liqueur. Stir occasionally with a metal spoon until the chocolate melts and the mixture becomes smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Plate the waffles, add a generous scoop of ice cream, drizzle with warm chocolate sauce, and garnish with raspberries if desired. Serve promptly.
