Irresistible bacon-blue cheese dip, perfect for veggie or bread dippers.
Ingredients:
  • 7 slices bacon
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup half-and-half
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
  • Fry bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp and golden, about 7 to 9 minutes. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain, reserving the flavorful grease in the pan. Once cooled, crumble the bacon.
  • Saute garlic in bacon fat over medium heat until tender, approximately 1 minute. Take off the heat.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to blend cream cheese and half-and-half until smooth. Mix in bacon, garlic, blue cheese, and chives. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
