"Delicious pistachio pudding cake inspired by Watergate salad."
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup cold milk
Instructions:
  • Mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, soda, and 1 box of pistachio pudding together. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
  • Combine a box of pistachio pudding mix with whipped topping and milk while the cake is in the oven. Allow the mixture to chill. Frost the cooled cake with the chilled frosting.
