Watermelon, guava and lime slushy

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 (about 500g) small seedless watermelon, peeled, chopped
  • 375ml guava
  • 60ml lime juice
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • Mint leaves, to serve
  • Lime wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Blend the watermelon in a blender until smooth, then strain through a fine sieve into a jug. Stir in the guava, lime juice, and sugar until the sugar dissolves. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for 4 hours or until almost frozen.
  • Take out of freezer and swiftly break apart with a spoon. Transfer to a food processor and blend until slushy. Divide into four drink bottles or cups with airtight lids. Chill in freezer until firm.
