Watermelon-Mango Habanero Hot Sauce

Tropical fruits and tangy lime balance the fiery habanero hot sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 10 jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 10 habanero peppers, sliced
  • 0.5 cup minced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups watermelon juice
  • 0.5 cup diced mango
  • 1 cup white vinegar
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, heat coconut oil over high heat. Add jalapenos, habanero peppers, onion, garlic, lime juice, and salt. Saute for 5 minutes, then simmer. Stir in watermelon juice and mango. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring often. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature for 15-30 minutes before serving.
  • Blend mixture in a food processor until smooth. Gradually drizzle in vinegar while processor is on. Transfer sauce to a sealed jar.
