Irresistible spicy wet sauce with Korean chili flakes, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and more. A must-have for your fridge!
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 3 tablespoon korean chili flakes or crushed red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup neutral vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
Instructions:
  • Combine scallions, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, sesame seeds, and sesame oil in a spacious heat-safe bowl.
  • In a small saucepan, heat neutral oil over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until hot. Carefully pour the hot oil over the green onion mixture, pouring slowly as it may bubble up. Once the bubbling subsides, stir the mixture and let it cool slightly.
  • Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and vinegar, then store the mixture in a sealed jar in the fridge until needed.
