"Easy creamy chicken: Sear breasts in butter, add mushrooms, top with whipped cream, bake until golden."
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • seasoned salt to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cups heavy cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and chill a ceramic, glass, or metal mixing bowl in the freezer.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until the foam subsides. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with seasoned salt and brown them in the melted butter for 5 to 8 minutes per side.
  • Place the chicken breasts into a 9x12-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the mushrooms in the skillet with the flavorful chicken drippings until they start to brown, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes.
  • Drizzle the savory mushroom mixture over the tender chicken breasts.
  • Whip chilled cream in a bowl on high speed until fluffy with soft peaks, for 1 to 3 minutes. Generously spoon the whipped cream over the chicken breasts.
  • Place the dish in the oven and bake until the cream is bubbly and the top turns golden brown, approximately 25 minutes.
