Easy and quick homemade white queso dip with creamy Monterey Jack cheese using just 6 ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1.25 cups whole milk, or more as needed
  • 0.125 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • First, melt butter in a saucepan until it sizzles. Next, stir in flour until the mixture is smooth. Slowly add milk and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and mix in onion powder and garlic powder, simmering for 2 minutes. Lastly, stir in Monterey Jack cheese until completely melted, about 5 minutes.
