Elevate your summer with refreshing white sangria!
Ingredients:
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 125ml water
  • 1 vanilla bean, split, seeds scraped
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 x 750ml bottles white wine (such as Riesling)
  • 375ml orange juice
  • 80ml lemon juice
  • 42.00 gm lime juice
  • 125.00 ml mint or lemon balm leaves
  • Ice, to serve
  • Orange slices, to serve
  • Lime, to serve
  • Lemon slices to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, mix sugar, water, vanilla bean and seeds, and cinnamon. Stir for 2 minutes until sugar dissolves. Let it simmer for 2 minutes until the syrup thickens. Transfer to a small container and refrigerate to chill.
  • In a jug, mix together the vanilla syrup, wine, orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, mint, citrus slices, and ice. Serve promptly.
