Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over gentle heat. Stir in flour until a golden paste forms; cook and stir for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Gradually stir in 1 cup of milk and simmer until thickened, approximately 5 minutes. Adjust thickness by adding more milk as needed.
