Delicious blueberry muffins made with whole wheat flour and bursting with fresh blueberries, ready in just 35 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or line them with paper liners. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl by whisking them together.
  • In a separate bowl, vigorously whisk together vegetable oil, egg, milk, and applesauce until smooth. Gently fold the liquid mixture into the flour until just combined. Carefully mix in the blueberries. Fill the prepared muffin cups with the batter, filling them 2/3 full.
  • Bake muffins in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they rise, turn golden brown, and pass the toothpick test in the center.
