Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large bowl, blend together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until fluffy. Add whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt, then incorporate chocolate chips and walnuts to create a crumbly dough. Press and compact the dough using your hands and a spoon.
  • Shape dough into roughly 36 1 1/2-inch balls and gently flatten on a baking sheet.
