Indulge in irresistible whole wheat chocolate chip cookies for a wholesome twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 package (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Combine sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg in a large bowl. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until dough is stiff. Fold in chocolate chips. Place rounded tablespoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned with soft centers. Let them cool slightly, then transfer from the cookie sheet to a wire rack to cool completely.
