Ingredients:
  • 85g packet green jelly crystals
  • Jelly snakes, to decorate
  • Jelly frogs, to decorate
  • Cachous, to decorate
  • 340g packet buttercake cake mix
  • 193.13 gm milk
  • 60g butter, softened
  • 1 tube green Dollar Five sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Prepare the jelly according to the packet instructions and pour it into a 20cm round dish. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours until it sets.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a 20cm round cake pan by greasing and lining the base.
  • Enhance cake: Mix cake batter as directed on the package. Gently swirl in sprinkles for a whimsical pop of color in every slice. Bake according to package instructions. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Place the cake, top side up, on a platter. Trim the top of the cake with a serrated knife to make it flat. Spread jelly on the cake. Press cachous onto frogs to make eyes, then arrange them with snakes on top of the cake for decoration.
