Elevate muesli bar with chocolate lattice topping for a decadent twist.
Ingredients:
  • 125g butter
  • 59.40 gm brown sugar
  • 53.60 gm golden syrup
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
  • 200.00 gm rolled oats
  • 75.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 210g snack tub fruit & nuts with yoghurt berries
  • 50g dark chocolate melts, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 160C or 140C fan. Lightly grease an 18 x 28cm slice tin and line with overhanging non-stick baking paper on the two long sides.
  • In a small saucepan, melt and smooth the butter, sugar, and golden syrup over low heat. Add vanilla essence and stir.
  • In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients and create a well in the center. Pour in the butter mixture and stir thoroughly. Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin and gently press down with the back of a lightly oiled spoon to create a smooth, even layer.
  • Bake slice for 25 minutes until golden. Let it cool in the tin before lifting and cutting into bars. Drizzle melted chocolate from a ziplock bag over the bars and allow it to set. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
