Easy and quick pumpkin scones, ideal for holiday season.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and generously grease a baking sheet.
  • Mix sugar, butter, and vanilla extract until fluffy using an electric mixer. Incorporate egg and mix well. Combine flour, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and salt into the butter mixture to form dough. Gently knead until fully combined. Cut dough into 1-inch squares and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until scones are beautifully risen.
