Cheesy bacon and chile quiche – an explosion of flavor in every bite!
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces bacon
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked 9 inch pie crust
  • 2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 5 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1.5 cups half-and-half
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chile peppers, drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C. Then, crisp up the bacon in a spacious skillet over medium-high heat until perfectly browned. Afterward, crumble the bacon and set it aside.
  • Press the crust into a 9-inch glass pie plate, then evenly distribute the bacon along the bottom. Mix Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and flour in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, onion, and green chiles. Combine the cheese mixture with the egg mixture, then pour it into the pie crust.
  • Place in a preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes until firm. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before enjoying.
