French pastry transformed into easy, elegant bars with flaky crescent base, silky vanilla pudding layer, and rich chocolate ganache topping - a show-stopping dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
  • 2 boxes (3.4 oz each) Jell-O™ vanilla-flavor instant pudding & pie filling mix
  • 3 cups cold half-and-half
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F and generously spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Unwrap crescent dough and gently press into pan. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until beautifully golden and fully cooked. Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool for 20 minutes.
  • Whisk together dry pudding mixes and half-and-half in a medium bowl for about 2 minutes until thickened. Spread mixture over the cooled bar base.
  • Microwave chocolate chips and whipping cream in a medium bowl on High for 1 minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals until smooth. Gently spread mixture on top of pudding layer and refrigerate for about 4 hours until completely cooled.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the dish into 6x4 rows with a slight up-and-down sawing motion for neat slices. Store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
