Revamp leftover bolognese into a simple and innovative lasagne using a jaffle maker for a quick and tasty meal!
Ingredients:
  • 30g butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • 2 fresh lasagne sheets
  • 130g (1/2 cup) leftover beef bolognese
  • 60g (1/4 cup) smooth ricotta
  • 30g (1/4 cup) coarsely grated mozzarella
  • 40.00 ml fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
Instructions:
  • Heat up your jaffle maker.
  • Combine butter, garlic powder, and oregano leaves in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until butter is melted, about 20 seconds on High.
  • Cut lasagne sheets into four 12cm squares. Coat squares with a luxurious butter mixture. Arrange 2 squares, butter-side down in a jaffle maker. Fill with portions of bolognese, ricotta, mozzarella, and fragrant basil. Seal edges with egg wash and add remaining squares, butter-side up.
  • Toast the pasta until golden and crisp, and heat the bolognese through for 3 minutes. Serve.
