Indulge in this decadent chocolate mousse that is both airy and packed with intense flavors. Use high-quality chocolate with over 70% cocoa for the best results. Whisk until light and creamy, avoiding overmixing. Top with cream and berries for a refreshing contrast. Chill for 2 hours before serving.
Ingredients:
  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa), broken into squares
  • Ice cubes, to chill
  • Whipped cream, to serve (optional)
  • Fresh raspberries, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, melt the chocolate with 160ml (2/3 cup) water, stirring occasionally until smooth, for 1-2 minutes.
  • 1. Fill a bowl with ice cubes. 2. Transfer the chocolate mixture to another bowl and place it on top of the bowl of ice. 3. Whip the chocolate mixture with electric beaters until it thickens slightly. 4. Divide the mixture into serving glasses. 5. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours to set.
  • Garnish the mousse with a dollop of whipped cream and fresh raspberries before serving, if desired.
