20 Layer Air Fryer Nachos

Loaded air fryer nachos with seasoned beef, tortilla chips, chiles, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, and tomatoes - perfect for a party!
Ingredients:
  • 2. lbs round sirloin
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion, divided
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 bags (about 20 oz. )  tortilla chips, divided
  • 16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 4-ounces cans diced green chiles
  • 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed, divided
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickled jalapenos, plus more for garnish if desired
  • 1 (2.25-ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 avocado, peeled and diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onion. Cook until browned while breaking it up with a spoon. Stir in taco seasoning and water, cooking until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Prepare the deep air fryer basket by lining it with parchment paper, ensuring the paper reaches up the sides. Create the first layer by arranging chips on the bottom. Add half of the beef mixture on top, then sprinkle with 1/3 of the cheese. Follow by spooning green chilies over the cheese and adding a second layer of chips. Sprinkle half of the beans evenly over the chips and top with salsa and another third of the cheese. For the next layer, add the last of the chips, then the remaining beans. Top with sliced jalapenos, the rest of the cheese, and olives.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C, then air fry until cheese is melted and begins to brown, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Carefully transfer the nachos from the air fryer basket onto a serving platter using the parchment paper. Garnish with sour cream, avocado, tomato, cilantro, and any extra toppings. Serve promptly.
