Impress with a simple, spooky Halloween layer cake. Boo!
Ingredients:
  • 100g white chocolate melts, melted
  • 2 x 540g Make at Home Chocolate Mud Cakes
  • 400g tub chocolate frosting
  • Dark chocolate writing icing, to decorate
  • Mints, to decorate
  • 20g pkt Funny Face Icing Figurines, eyes only
Instructions:
  • Prepare a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper. Drizzle melted chocolate onto the lined tray and use the back of a spoon to shape into teardrop forms. Allow the chocolate to harden. Finish off by adding ghost features using chocolate writing icing.
  • Trim the cake tops, then place one cake on a serving plate. Spread the top and sides with half of the icing. Repeat this process with the second cake and the remaining icing. Smooth out the top and sides for a flawless finish.
  • Place the chocolate ghosts on the cake, then use chocolate writing icing to decorate mints for eyes. Finally, arrange the mints with icing eyes on the cake and cut into wedges before serving.
