Spooky Halloween 5-layer dip with spider web decoration.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1.5 cups sour cream, divided
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 1.5 cups finely shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar salsa
  • 1 (20 ounce) can refried black beans
  • 1 large black olive
  • 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives
  • chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions:
  • Evenly coat the bottom of a round serving dish with guacamole.
  • Combine 1 cup of sour cream with taco seasoning in a bowl, then evenly spread over the guacamole layer.
  • Evenly layer cheese over the sour cream and blanket it entirely with salsa for a delicious finish.
  • Warm refried beans in a microwave-safe container until softened. Spread over salsa layer, leaving 1 inch around the edge of the dish uncovered.
  • Transfer the remaining 1/2 cup of sour cream into a piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe a spiderweb pattern on top of the bean layer.
  • Create a spooky spider by halving the large black olive lengthwise for the body and cutting four sliced olives in half for legs. Place them on top of the web to decorate.
  • Garnish the dip by placing the sliced black olives and chopped green onions around the edge.
