Spooky spiderweb dip: Thick salsa and beef on tortilla chips for a Halloween treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 jar (24 oz) thick & chunky salsa
  • 1 can (15 oz) Progresso™ black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 container (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1 container (7 oz) guacamole
  • Lime-flavored or plain tortilla chips
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet, sauté the beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes until fully cooked; drain any excess fat. Mix in the taco seasoning and transfer to a heatproof glass serving bowl.
  • Spread a layer of salsa over the beef mixture. Follow with a layer of black beans, saving one bean for the topping. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top. Place 2 tablespoons of sour cream into a small resealable plastic bag, seal and set aside. Spread the rest of the sour cream over the cheese, followed by a layer of guacamole.
  • Snip a small corner of the bag and delicately squeeze out sour cream in a spiral motion from the center outwards. Then, use a knife tip to drag through the spiral from the middle to the edges to create a web pattern, repeating about 12 times. Finally, place a black bean in the center to represent the spider. Enjoy with your favorite chips.
