5-ingredient choc-chip ice-cream bread

Quick and decadent ice cream tart with a crunchy almond crust and caramel sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 2 litres chocolate chip ice-cream, softened
  • 525.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 40.00 ml flaked almonds
  • 125.00 ml caramel sauce
  • 252.50 gm thickened cream, whipped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Grease a 9cm-deep, 11.5cm x 20cm loaf pan, and line the base and sides with baking paper, leaving a 2cm overhang.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ice cream and flour thoroughly. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake for 1 hour and 25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Place the bread on a wire rack to cool thoroughly. Enjoy the bread with caramel sauce and whipped cream.
