Air fryer baby back ribs: quick, easy, and delicious weeknight dinner option.
Ingredients:
  • 1 rack baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions:
  • Prepare the ribs by carefully removing the membrane and patting them dry with a paper towel. Cut the rack into 4 pieces. Combine olive oil and liquid smoke in a small bowl, then generously massage the mixture onto both sides of the ribs.
  • Mix together the brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder in a bowl. Coat both sides of the ribs generously with the seasoning mix. Allow the ribs to sit for 30 minutes to boost the flavor.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for optimal results.
  • Arrange the ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. Cook in batches if needed.
  • Cook the ribs for 15 minutes. Flip the ribs over so the meat-side is down and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Take the ribs out of the air fryer and coat the bone-side of the ribs with 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for 5 more minutes. Flip the ribs over, brush the meat-side with the remaining 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, and cook for an extra 5 minutes or until you achieve the desired char.
