Make BBQ-crusted chicken tenders effortlessly in an air fryer for a crispy, juicy meal with less oil and no flipping needed.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 ounces barbecue-flavored pork rinds
  • 1 tablespoon barbecue seasoning
  • 1.5 pounds chicken breast tenderloins
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for optimal cooking results.
  • In a food processor, finely grind the pork rinds until they resemble breadcrumbs. Transfer them to a shallow bowl. Combine flour and barbecue seasoning in another shallow dish. Beat the egg in a separate shallow bowl.
  • First, dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour, followed by a dip in beaten egg, and finish by coating with pork rind crumbs.
  • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Place half of the chicken tenders in the basket, ensuring they are not touching. Give them a quick spritz of cooking spray on top. Air fry for about 15 minutes until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Repeat with the remaining tenders.
