Air fryer dessert: Flaky puff pastry with Caramilk Hokey Pokey block topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ sheets puff pastry, just thawed
  • 170g Caramilk Hokey Pokey
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled, halved lengthways
  • 300ml thickened cream, whipped, to brush and serve
Instructions:
  • On a clean work surface, gently place a sheet of pastry. Add the block of Caramilk in the center and cover it with a banana, cut side down.
  • Cut six 0.5cm wide strips on each long side of the block of pastry. Position a small round metal cutter on any area of the banana. Take one strip at a time and lay it beside the cutter, gently stretching it to the pastry's edge and pressing lightly to adhere. Layer the next strip slightly overlapping the previous one. Repeat this process around the cutter using the remaining pastry sheet to cut additional strips.
  • Place the pastry strips around the block, securing them tightly, then trim to fit the base. Gently brush with a bit of cream. Air fry at 200°C for 10 minutes. Let it sit in the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes to achieve a soft and gooey chocolate center before serving.
  • Discard cutter and garnish with a dollop of whipped cream before serving.
