Air-fried cherry and cream cheese stuffed croissants - a simple and delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • flour for dusting
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury®
  • 1 (8 ounce) tub cream cheese
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pitted sour cherries, drained
  • cooking spray
  • ground cinnamon to taste
Instructions:
  • Sprinkle flour on your work surface. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  • Generously slather cream cheese onto each triangle.
  • Place 3 or 4 cherries on the wider part of each crescent dough triangle. Roll up the crescents, ensuring the cherries are tucked in. Gently fold down the ends of each roll to create a crescent shape.
  • Coat the air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Gently place the croissants into the basket.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Air fry croissants for 5 minutes until they are beautifully puffed up and lightly browned. Ensure they are not sticking to each other or overly browned. Continue cooking for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, being careful not to overcook.
  • Place the croissants on a plate and generously sprinkle them with aromatic cinnamon.
