Easy cherry hand pies: Perfect for snacking or parties, made with prepared dough and cherry filling.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie dough
  • 0.5 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • butter-flavored cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sugar crystals for sprinkling
Instructions:
  • Roll out the pie dough circles to 1/8-inch thickness and use a 3-inch round cookie cutter to create 16 circles (8 from each dough round).
  • Dab water on the edge of a circle, spoon 1 tablespoon cherry pie filling in the center, fold in half, pinch edges to seal, crimp with a fork, slit the top with a knife. Repeat with the rest of the circles.
  • Preheat your air fryer and spray the basket with cooking spray. Arrange the pies in a single layer (you might need to do this in batches), spray the tops with cooking spray, and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  • Air fry until beautifully golden in just 9 minutes.
