Cornmeal and Old Bay® seasoned frog legs air fried to crispy perfection with no oil, just cooking spray.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound frog legs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Place the frog legs in a bowl and generously cover them with milk. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld perfectly.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C following the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • In a large resealable bag, mix together cornmeal, flour, and seafood seasoning. Seal the bag and give it a good shake to blend the ingredients.
  • Take out 1 pair of frog legs from the milk, allowing any excess to drip back into the bowl. Transfer them to the bag with the seasoned cornmeal mixture and shake until coated. Dip the frog legs back in the milk and coat them again in the cornmeal mixture. Shake to coat once more and place on a plate. Repeat this process with the remaining frog legs.
  • Grease the air fryer basket generously with cooking spray. Arrange the frog legs in a single layer without overlapping. Spray the tops of the frog legs with cooking spray as well. If necessary, cook the frog legs in batches.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes until golden and crisp, spraying any chalky spots with cooking spray. Continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining batches.
