Crispy air fryer potato wedges seasoned with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese for a quick and flavorful snack.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large russet potato, scrubbed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C as per the manufacturer's instructions) and line the basket with nonstick foil.
  • Use a paring knife to pierce the potato several times. Microwave on high for 7 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. Allow to cool before handling.
  • Slice the potato in half lengthwise using a serrated knife. Cut each half into 4 wedges and then halve the wedges. Drizzle with oil and brush evenly to coat.
  • Arrange the potatoes closely in the air fryer, skin side down on foil, and with the cut sides facing up. Evenly sprinkle Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning over the top, then gently separate the slices. (Placing them close together initially ensures optimal cheese and seasoning coverage.)
  • Air-fry at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes, checking every 5 minutes. Then, lower the temperature to 350 degrees F and air-fry for an additional 5 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
