Air Fryer Oven Buffalo Chicken Jerky Sticks

Buffalo chicken jerky for a delicious hiking or camping snack.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 0.25 cup cayenne pepper sauce (such as Frank's® RedHot®)
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon celery seed
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon pink curing salt
  • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper sauce (such as Frank's® RedHot®)
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix ground chicken with 1/4 cup cayenne pepper sauce, sea salt, pepper, celery seed, garlic powder, onion powder, and pink curing salt until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Pipe the meat mixture into stick shapes using a jerky gun onto the racks of the air fryer oven.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 160°F (70°C).
  • First, arrange the sticks in the air fryer and set the timer for 2 hours. Use a fork to flip them over and brush the remaining 2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper sauce on top. Air fry for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Allow dish to cool fully before transferring it to a sealed container for storage.
