Whip up frozen shrimp in the air fryer for a speedy and delicious peel-and-eat dish, no defrosting required.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound shell-on deveined jumbo shrimp
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon reduced-sodium seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 2 wedges lemon, for serving
Instructions:
  • Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  • Rinse shrimp under cold water to remove ice or sediment, then dry with paper towels. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, lightly mist with cooking spray. Adjust for multiple batches if needed based on air fryer size.
  • Air-fry shrimp for 5 minutes, then flip and cook until shrimp are bright pink and opaque, 3 to 4 minutes more.
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt butter at 50 percent power for 30 to 60 seconds. Stir in hot sauce and Old Bay® seasoning.
  • Transfer the cooked shrimp to a spacious bowl. Drizzle with the butter mixture and toss until well coated. Serve right away with lemon wedges.
