Create customizable air fryer personal pizzas for a crowd-pleasing meal.
Ingredients:
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough (such as Pillsbury®)
  • 6 tablespoons pizza sauce, divided
  • 10 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 14 slices pepperoni, divided
  • 0.5 cup onion slices, divided
  • sprinkle of dried basil and red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer at 380 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 5 minutes. Grease the basket with olive oil spray or use a parchment liner to prevent sticking.
  • Take the canned dough, remove the crust, and divide it in half. Shape each half into a circle, crimping the edges to create a crust that fits in your air fryer basket. Place one crust in the air fryer basket, lightly spray with olive oil, prick with a fork, and pre-cook for 3 minutes.
  • Evenly coat the crust in the air fryer basket with 3 tablespoons of pizza sauce. Layer with half of the mozzarella cheese, 7 pepperoni slices, and half of the onion slices. Add a sprinkle of basil and red pepper flakes, if desired.
  • Bake until the crust turns golden brown and crispy and the cheese melts, for about 7 to 9 minutes. Cooking times may vary based on the size and brand of your air fryer, so keep an eye on it to prevent overcooking or burning. Repeat the process with the second pizza crust. Serve while hot.
