Whip up tender air fryer steak and delicious sides in no time for an impressive meal!
Ingredients:
  • 500g sweet potato, peeled, cut into wedges
  • 70g (1/4 cup) crème fraîche
  • 20.60 gm milk
  • 20.00 ml horseradish sauce
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh tarragon, plus extra sprigs, to sprinkle
  • 1 small green shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 x 225g porterhouse steaks
  • 4 large flat mushrooms
  • 50g garlic butter, chopped
  • Watercress sprigs, to serve
Instructions:
  • Place the sweet potato in the air fryer basket, heat to 180°C, then spray with oil, sprinkle with salt, and cook for 20 minutes or until crisp, remembering to turn halfway through. Set aside and keep warm.
  • Combine the crème fraîche, milk, horseradish, tarragon, and shallot in a bowl, then season to perfection.
  • Put the steaks in the basket and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Then, transfer the steaks to a plate, cover with foil, and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • After letting the steaks rest, place mushrooms in the air fryer basket with the base-side up. Sprinkle extra tarragon on top, spray with oil, and add butter to the gills of the mushrooms. Air fry for 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the sweet potato, mushrooms, and steak on serving plates, then generously drizzle with the luscious crème fraîche mixture and serve with a side of fresh watercress.
