Delicious air fryer steak beef jerky - time-consuming but worth it!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
  • 0.25 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
  • 1.5 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • skewers
Instructions:
  • Place steak strips in a resealable plastic bag along with soy sauce, steak seasoning, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke. Allow to marinate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Cut the skewers to fit and overlap the air fryer basket slightly. Trim any extra length.
  • Heat up your air fryer to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C) for 10 minutes.
  • Skewer beef strips, ensuring space between each strip, as the air fryer heats up.
  • Air fry for 2 hours, rearranging the skewers every 30 minutes due to the maximum setting of most air fryers being 30 minutes.
  • Lower the heat to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (80 degrees Celsius) and air fry for another 15 minutes.
  • Place the strips on a paper towel-lined container, seal, and let them rest overnight before serving.
