Air fryer tandoori chicken with charred perfection, marinate for extra flavor boost up to 1 day ahead.
Ingredients:
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 260g (1 cup) natural yoghurt
  • 155g (1/2 cup) tandoori paste
  • Vegetable oil, to grease
Instructions:
  • Make 2 deep slits in the thickest part of each drumstick. In a large bowl, mix yoghurt and tandoori paste. Add the drumsticks and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to marinate.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 180C for 5 minutes. Grease the base of the air fryer basket with oil. Arrange 4 drumsticks slit side down in the basket and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the drumsticks and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until fully cooked. Place them on a plate and cover with foil to keep them warm. Repeat with the rest of the drumsticks.
