Crispy air-fried tofu bites - a versatile vegan delight for snacking, topping salads, or enhancing stir-fries. Quick, easy, and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces firm tofu
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce (such as Bragg®)
  • 1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions:
  • Place tofu on a plate layered with paper towels, top with more paper towels and another plate. Add a 3- to 5-pound weight on top to press tofu for 30 minutes. Drain any liquid, then cut tofu into 1/2-inch cubes.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and sesame oil until well combined. Add tofu cubes and marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  • Arrange the tofu in a uniform layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry without shaking for 5 minutes. Then continue air frying, shaking occasionally, until browned, for about 10 more minutes.
