Create crispy turkey meatballs in the air fryer, perfect for pairing with pasta or sandwiched in hoagie rolls.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 0.75 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup prepared fresh basil pesto
  • 2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 pound ground turkey
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, blend together panko, Parmesan cheese, pesto, egg, milk, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic until fully combined. Gently fold in the ground turkey to avoid making the mixture tough.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Form the ground turkey mixture into delectable 1-1/2 inch meatballs before gently arranging them in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry the meatballs for 8 to 10 minutes until they are fully cooked. Make sure to use an instant-read thermometer to check that the center temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
