Indulgent almond, macadamia, and chocolate friands - ideal for any occasion!
Ingredients:
  • 187.50 gm icing sugar
  • 187.50 ml plain flour
  • 100.00 gm almond meal
  • 142.50 gm dark chocolate bits
  • 125.00 ml macadamia nuts
  • 6 egg whites
  • 185g butter melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a moderate 180C and lightly grease 8 mini loaf pan recesses.
  • Sift icing sugar and flour into a large bowl, then mix in almond meal, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, and macadamia nuts.
  • Whisk egg whites in a small bowl until frothy, then gently mix into dry ingredients.
  • Incorporate butter, stirring until fully mixed. Spoon mixture into designated compartments. Top each with additional chocolate chips.
  • Bake until beautifully golden and cooked through when tested with a skewer. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
