Decadent buttery cookies dusted with powdered sugar using a cookie mix. Try them now!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup ground blanched almonds
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Blue edible glitter, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, butter, egg, cornstarch, ground almonds, and almond extract in a large bowl until a dough forms.
  • Take a rounded teaspoon of dough and shape it into a 2 1/2-inch strip. Taper the ends and form a crescent shape on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 9 to 10 minutes until set. Allow to cool for 1 minute, then transfer from the cookie sheet to a wire rack. Let cool completely for about 30 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar and sprinkle with edible glitter.
