Award-Winning Tropical Paradise Bars: Layers of pineapple, coconut, and macadamia nuts for a deliciously easy treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 cups white vanilla baking chips
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped dried pineapple
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup Betty Crocker™ macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Mix cookie mix, butter, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms, then press the dough into the bottom of the pan.
  • After baking for 15 minutes, generously top with baking chips, pineapple, coconut, and nuts. Finish by drizzling evenly with sweetened condensed milk.
  • Continue baking for an additional 30 to 35 minutes until the top turns a lovely light golden brown. Allow to cool completely before slicing into 9 rows by 4 rows to make bars. Store the bars covered in the refrigerator.
