Delicious and budget-friendly chicken pot pie made with canned goods and crescent roll dough.
Ingredients:
  • 3 (6 ounce) cans white meat chicken, drained and broken into chunks
  • 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced potatoes, drained
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of chicken soup, or more to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place together the chicken chunks, mixed vegetables, potatoes, and condensed soup in a 9-inch pie plate. If needed, add extra soup to fully coat the ingredients. Cover the pot pie filling with crescent roll dough, allowing gaps for ventilation. Seal the edges of the dough by pressing them around the pie plate.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake until the dough is golden brown and the filling is bubbling, approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Allow to cool briefly before serving.
