"Juicy and tender roasted turkey thighs made easy with an oven bag."
Ingredients:
  • 1 large heat-resistant nylon oven bag (such as Reynolds® Oven Bags)
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large carrot, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 4 turkey thighs
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then evenly coat an oven bag with flour and position it inside a 9x11-inch pan.
  • Layer the bag with onion, celery, and carrot pieces. Rinse the turkey thighs and then gently dry them with paper towels. Massage olive oil under the skin and over the thighs.
  • Generously season turkey thighs with seasoned salt, ensuring it's massaged under the skin. Place thighs over vegetables in the oven bag, tie it securely, then make six slits on top with a sharp knife. Place pan in the oven, ensuring the bag doesn't touch the top heating element.
  • Roast until the thigh meat reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), approximately 1 hour, using an instant-read thermometer.
